Wiggly Christmas Program… what a show!

What a great week, full of joy and excitement! We had been looking forward to a special event prepared just for you, our Wiggly Christmas program. Turtles practiced really hard, and their hard work paid off! They did great! We are so proud of them, and we hope you enjoyed the show.

This week was all about practice, practice, and practice during physical development. Children danced to their jingle bells song and put on their best dance moves.  During Exploration time tiny turtles made all sorts of fun activities, but most of them focused on fine motor skills (painting with their fingers) like their handprint snowman ornament, elves Christmas card made with their thumb and index fingerprints. They also made a Santa’s sleigh with all the reindeer, made with their fingerprints; the one on the top is Rudolph with his big red nose.

With Miss Cristy kids were such great little helpers! They made all the decorations for their program! For example, painting cardboard using the color brown, shiny stars with sponges and glitter. They also painted candy canes red, and Santa’s hat and boot, pasting cotton on them.

Kids enjoyed story time a lot, we saw books related to the season, like “Spot’s First Christmas”, “Merry Christmas Boots”, “The Pokey Little Puppy” and “One Snowy Eve”.

We would like to wish Joaquin and Mathias a happy birthday! They turned two today, and they really enjoyed making their super kid crown with Mr. Mike and sharing cupcakes with their friends.
