Very Busy, Busy Bees!

This week has been one of learning for the Busy Bees. We have been talking about body parts. Some vocabulary words like hands, tummy, feet, shoulders, head, toes, eyes, mouth etc, have been reviewed daily with fun activities and games, which makes it easy for them to learn. We used different images so they could actually see and relate to the different parts of their body.

Exploration was a block where they got to experience feet sensory play with pasta. It was so much fun!

They enjoyed Ms. Mely’s songs like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” as well as, “One Fine Face” this was because they had the opportunity to dance and reinforce the concepts at the same time.

Ms. Dany traced their silhouettes, and after we had the chance to draw some parts of the body. They also worked on fine motor skills by pasting different materials, coloring and cutting the weekly project.

During story time everyone remained seated… it’s amazing how much they have come to like it.

Next week we will be starting with the basic emotions such as happy, sad, angry and sleepy.

We are proud and happy our Busy Bees are having so much fun with all the morning activities!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Ms. Roby
