Stirring the Witches’ Brew

We started this week with a big stir of Witches’ brew. We are now in full Halloween swing and exited about our the Hocus Pocus Parade. We worked on creative projects like a witch flying in the night sky, spiders, bats, and ghosts.

During exploration, the kids had a blast making a spider out of Oreos and pretzel sticks. They also liked playing with a Haunted Mansion.

During Physical Development, they got to act out the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” by walking up the ramp (spout) and rolling down. Some of the songs they enjoyed dancing a lot were: The Scarecrow, Monster Mash, and the Skeleton Dance.

This week we ended with a game of musical chairs they enjoyed a lot. Some of the kids are already telling us all about their costumes. We really look forward to seeing them in the Parade.
