Another week went by so quickly! We said bye bye to September and hello to October. The kids are so excited that we are in the month of Halloween. This week we learned everything about shapes.
At Physical Development, Caterpillars danced to the song Circle, Triangle and Square. They enjoyed exercising on the carpet full of shapes.
During Creativity, we worked on a shape train. First the kiddos painted the shapes, then they pasted small foamy figures on each wagon. Our little ones painted the wheels of the train with dot to dot markers which they love. We couldn’t resist to start with Halloween activities. The children painted a bat and cat tangram with different shape stamps.
Next week we will continue reviewing shapes, learning all about lines, primary and secondary colors.
As you may already know, on Thursday October 31st, we will be having our Halloween party and parade. Start looking for costumes so your child can participate. Try to find simple costumes for their own comfort. If possible, use make up instead of a mask, so it won’t obstruct their sight.
Have a wonderful weekend!
