My House

This week, Tiny Turtles learned all about their house: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room and dining room. We took the kids outside so they could play with the kitchen and also with the playhouse. They enjoyed hiding inside, opening and closing the windows as well as pretending to cook. Children had a blast playing with a big doll house and learning about the different rooms inside a house. Turtles had a big box full of furniture and they learned with items belong to each room of the house, too. Kids also played with a box with halls and they enjoyed moving balls around the halls. They are getting more into the routine every day!

In creativity class we used the stamping circles of different colors and the kids enjoyed exploring them. Also we used some sponges of different sizes and with different paint colors and the kiddos would stamp on a paper… they loved it! Turtles also made a pumpkin using sponges and orange paint- they had a blast! We covered the wall with craft paper, and the kids painted standing up so they could have more space. Children like to experiment and try new things; anything that involves a little bit of a mess is perfectly fine with them!

Physical development class with Miss Mely is all about developing your kids motor gross skills. This week children played with the parachute and they had so much fun! Tiny turtles are learning some “Listen and Move” action songs and they get to practice daily how to march around the classroom. Miss Mely plays some fun songs to get everybody moving around and shaking their body following simple steps and instructions.

This week’s vocabulary words were: Introduce house: kitchen/ Bedroom – bathroom/ Living room –dining room/ Review home

Sincerely,

Miss Nadia
