Merry Christmas!

Last day of school and vacations are here! Let’s make the most of these days by spending time with our loved ones, making beautiful memories surrounded by our families.

We had a super busy week. Our tiny turtles were working hard like Santa’s elves! In exploration time, they practiced their fine motor skills by making a wreath out of yarn, the key words here were: in and out. Kids painted a Christmas tree using sponges, and then we pasted it on the wall so turtles could then add some “ornaments” made out of shapes. There was one activity in particular which they loved, that was the “Yummy Christmas Tree” made out of a sugar cones, frosting with green food coloring, skittles, marshmallows and shredded coconut. It got a little bit messy but kids were happy and excited to work as a group decorating the Christmas Tree!

Creativity time is always so much fun! Miss Cristy had cool Christmas projects prepared for the kiddos. They put the finishing touches on the Christmas trees they gifted you by pasting shiny ornaments and the star on the top. Children loved making the cookie dough and cutting it with cookie cutters. After baking we glazed the cookies for Santa, but we didn’t forget about the reindeer! They made a special bag full of carrots for them.

During story time we got to relax a little bit and enjoy lovely books such as: “Baby Surprise”, “Pooh Christmas Days”, “A Mouse Christmas” and “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer”.

We would like to wish Sofia a happy birthday! This little girl turned two today, and she loved the rocket ride with Mr. Mike!

May lovely, happy times decorate your holiday season

May warm, special memories brighten your new year

May the wonder of Christmas be with you forever!

With love,

Miss Judy and Miss Nancy
