Hello May!

This week we learned more about jungle animals. The kiddos learned vocabulary words such as “monkey”, “lion”, “tiger”, “giraffe”, “zebra” and “snake”.

During Exploration, the littles ones played with stuffed jungle animals. They really enjoyed feeling the texture and naming them.

Mr. Mike, during Circle Time, showed us Mufasa, the Lion King, and his baby, Simba. He also showed us a big giraffe and baby giraffe. The kids really, really loved watching this.

Creativity was amazing! Our little ones had lots of fun creating a natural lemon scrub for their mommies. They enjoyed touching and smelling this wonderful gift. Also, we made a zebra using a paper bag and painted black stripes on it. We also made a giraffe, we used the kiddos arm to trace the shape of the giraffe. Their favorite creativity project was using paper plates and dot-a-dot markers to make a colorful snake.

Next week we will have a special visit. A Vet is coming to the kinder to teach us more about animals.

Happy Mother’s Day and we hope you have a nice weekend!
