This week, we had our Thanksgiving Feast. The Caterpillars viewed a table full of delicious food like turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberries, yams and corn bread. They also had some of it to eat, they really enjoyed it!
During Circle Time, Mr. Mike told us the story about Thanksgiving, how the pilgrims and the indians had a get-together with lots of food and were thankful. He taught the kiddos to be thankful, too.
In Physical Development we danced to “The Turkey Hop” and “Thanksgiving Feast”. We also started rehearsing for our Christmas Program.
Creativity was so much fun, we made an indian headband and wore it at our Thanksgiving Feast. We also made our own shaker, we used a plastic bottle and filled it with kernels, sequins and pompoms.
We want to remind you that we won’t have classes next week as we celebrate the Mexican Revolution and Thanksgiving Holidays.
Classes will resume on Monday, November 26.
Thank you for all you do! Enjoy your vacation!
