Discovering Christmas Magic

This first week of December we dove right into the Christmas spirit. We introduced the kids to all the famous characters like Santa Claus and Rudolph.

One of the favorite exploration activities was drawing ornaments on the chalkboard Christmas Tree.

During our routine, we focused a lot on the Alphabet and identifying the first letter of each person’s name. We also worked with shapes. All of the kids learned to¬†identify their own letter.

In art we had fun working with Christmas colors painting candy canes and Christmas trees. We’re also working on a wreathe that will hang on our green door next week.

In physical development our main focus was on practicing for the Christmas program. You may have noticed your children singing “Go Santa Go” or “Let’s clap hands for Santa Claus.”

We’re very excited to see their progress and look forward to the show.

See you there, and Ho, Ho, Ho!!!
